Notes for Juliette

Juliette, thanks for all the hard work you’ve done for all of us in the Provost’s office. We will miss you! Congratulations!

What more can I say? You already know how sad I am to see this day come.

Proud is an understatement. Your personal and professional growth during your time at King’s was so incredible. I consider it a blessing to be able to watch you set high goals and crush them because of how resilient and determined you are.

I will always remember and be grateful for our time together. So thankful that graduation is not the final goodbye.

Until next time!

Jeremiah 29:11

Juliette, congrats on graduating! I’m proud to know you. Thank you for all you’ve done to help the ship run smoothly, for being an excellent student, for your work at Apostles, and for your sunny disposition! Don’t be a stranger.

I remember well freshman year Juliette and she is very different than the woman I have the privilege of celebrating today. You have matured and grown in a beautiful way, you have persevered and overcome hard challenges, you have fought for joy and gratitude–I am beyond proud of you! From fellow students to now fellow alum, it has been a pleasure to walk this journey of life with you <3 I look forward to cheering for you on Saturday and beyond. May God surprise you in the best way during this new chapter of life–wishing you all the best! Love you, friend!

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33)

Congratulations on finishing your college career with a flourish! Going through so many changes was a challenge and I am so thankful for your faithfulness. May you be as much of a blessing to future employers as you have been to us!

Thanks for your great work in the provost’s office in recent years. The entire faculty will miss you.

We’ll have to recreate this pic on Saturday, but with YOU as the graduate! 🙂

Echoing Aizess over here with a graduation photo!

That first year you jumped into deep waters and learned how to work graduation! And you were still smiling after all that.

I agree that it will be so much fun to take this again with you being the graduate this time!

JULIETTE!!!!!! I am resisting the urge to go completely ham on a public yearbook, so I will simply say: CONGRATULATIONS! You are seriously one of the smartest and hardest working people I know. I’m honored to call you my friend!

Jules, you are among the best things college gave me. Thank you for your steadfast friendship and constant good music recommendations. You will go far and I can’t wait to see it!

Juliette! Remember when we shot that video for daily worship & prayer that never got made? Sorry about that 🙂

Even then I could see your dedication to the King’s community, and the fruit of that has only grown. Thanks for being a light, and I wish you the best in everything ahead!

From our first advising meeting, I’ve known we were going to connect. What a joy it’s been to see you grow and mature and bloom here at King’s. You have been such a blessing to me professionally, as you’ve served us here in AA, and personally as you’ve shared your joys and struggles and listened to mine as well! You are a lady of so many interests and talents, it will be amazing to see where all they take you in the years to come. Hope I continue to have a front row seat to watch!!

Jules! I love your heart. It was always a good day when I was able to cross paths with you. You are such a beautiful and bright soul, whether it’s your musical talents or your ability to talk circles around matters of finance. You have such a bright future and I can’t wait to hear all about it. Thank you for your friendship and comradery. WE DID IT!!! congratulations!

Yes queen!! I just have to say congratulations and I’m so proud of you friend! I’ll always love our time working together in the back office. Wishing you nothing but the best!

Gurl! I know we only ever met once or twice and only ever did a couple things together in Stats or something like that, but I remember you being someone who was intelligent, beautiful, organized, and very very capable. Bravo! Now get out there and show them what you’ve got!

Sweet Juliette! I am so proud of you. You have faithfully completed something very, very difficult. Through a pandemic, and a recession, and long months of uncertainty, and a million little fires, you have seen it through. Take that in! Let it give you confidence. You are someone who can do hard things and do them with excellence!

I am grateful for who you are. Keep looking up!

Jules!
oh, how I love you
thank you for always pushing me to do my best and being a great person to talk to.
I literally have no doubt that you are going to do amazing things.
I cant wait for post-grad coffee dates
so proud of you Jules, you deserve the world!

Juliette, you are such a jem to know. I will never forget when I was a freshman and you offered to edit my paper. I thought you were so cool and had your life together… I still think you’re cool… Seriously though you totally have your life together, but more importantly your heart is in the right place. Here’s to still seeing you around (especially at Arcadian Wild concerts). Congrats friend!!!

Jules, the amount of small boxes you can fit yourself into still amazes me. Remember that time we pulled an all nighter watching a video get edited? And the video featured you falling off a bike that you weren’t even riding? That was horrible let’s never do that again. Instead let’s eat brownies and watch the bachelorette.
You amaze me, man. You’ve taught yourself how to be daring, savvy, and so excellent at everything you do. I learn every single day that I live with you. You’ve got the best soul and you’ve got all my confidence that your future will be brighter than the sunshine. I love you lots!

Woohoo! Congrats, Juliette! Can’t wait to see what God has in store for your life post grad. So glad to have you a church buddy :). See you on Sunday!

I’m so proud of you and who you are. I’m continually impressed by just how smart and dedicated you are, and know that you will carry that into the future. Wishing you great success at your next (wildly successful) job

Juliette, I’m so grateful to have you as part of the Apostles Church family, for your faithful service to our church, and for your love for our city. Congratulations on your graduation! Excited to see what the Father is going to do in your life ahead!

Juliette, congrats! What a blessing to get to know you these past couple years.

So excited for this next season of life for you. Enjoy today and we can’t wait to see where life takes you next. No doubts you will do great!

Celebrating with you today!

Juliette! YOU DID IT! You took on all of the hard parts of school and the many long nights of paper writing and can now shove a degree (with high honors ofc) IN ITS FACE!

I am so proud of how you have persisted this year and wouldn’t want to live in a tiny box of bunkbeds with anyone else but you.

May God bless you in this new season of never having to do homework again! 🙂

So you were a very smart kid. We all knew it. But we didn’t know how kind and strong you’d grow up to be. Congratulations on this milestone and going on to do some very important things. The world needs sorely needs strong people, and you’re one of them.

My dear Juliette,

It took me way too long to post this because I couldn’t decide what to say. I am so thankful for the gift of your friendship throughout our time at King’s, but especially that we have been able to grow closer at Apostles this year. I am so thankful that the end of your time at King’s doesn’t mark the end of our time together and am so excited for all of the adventures that are to come. <3
