Notes for Taryn
Taryn, gosh, the future is bright! It was always fun working with you, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for you!
(By the way, NYCIntern City Point is sold out for the summer thanks to your epic video. They should give you a gift card or something.)
Taryn, it’s been a real joy getting to know you in class, from Politics and Literature to Constitutional Law of the Federal System. Congrats on graduating, and don’t be a stranger!
Taryn, you have been a gift to King’s and the House of Barton! You have a very gentle and sweet spirit and I will miss your welcoming hugs. I know you will go far in post-grad life and I look forward to seeing all that you achieve. May God surprise you in the best way during this new chapter of life–wishing you all the best!
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33)
You are one gifted young lady and I thank God for you. I still remember the recording we did for 2Cents and being in awe of your approach, professionalism and enthusiasm. Needless to say that your work speaks for itself and is known to so many. I encourage you to continue and press on in your faith and your creative pursuits. The Lord is with you!
Taryn thanks for being such a fun and enthusiastic teammate on the cabinet last year! Thanks for casting the vision for so many fun video projects during a year when fun wasn’t always the name of the game. I’m excited to see what and where you go next!
You are radiant, warm, brilliant, and one of the best friends I could ever ask for in college. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you. It’s been a privilege to have your kind soul be a part of my own life.
I’ve seen you shine in your internships, in your classes, and in everything you set your mind to! I’m proud to have been with you through the ebbs and flows of your last semesters at King’s, and I just KNOW that you’ll impact even more lives outside the city.
I’ll miss all of our hot girl walks, all the times we sat down to watch a silly little rom com, but most importantly I’ll miss your hugs! I can’t wait to see all the adventures God has planned for you, and please remember I’ll be a FaceTime call away always.
I also want the record to show that I will always remember and appreciate that you’ve led the sprint team every year for the House of Barton during Great Race.
GOOD LUCK OUT THERE CHAMP!!! I love you!!!!
PS I want day in the life pictures everyday of your post-grad life.
There’s absolutely no one like you. You are a bright light to all around you. You are a natural-born leader. You’re incredibly talented, smart, and driven. You are the best of friends.
3F isn’t going to be quite the same next year without you in it, dancing around to your show-tunes and making your stupid little tuna/egg salad. Even though I won’t miss that smell, I’ll definitely miss you.
I’ll miss our midnight trips to insomnia in our pajamas, our failed attempts at recording tiktok dances (most often when we should instead be studying), and our Friends binges.
Who am I supposed tan on our sketchy roof with now? Or lip-sync every word to Nikki Minaj’s “Super Bass” with? Life as I now know it may never be the same… but maybe I could convince Jet to do the latter.
If what you’ve done in the two years I’ve known you is even a slight testament to what you’ll accomplish in life, I just know it’ll be big. And I can’t wait to watch it happen for you. Just don’t forget us when you’re off in Hollywood calling the shots.
Please remember that we expect weekly facetime calls.
Love you always,
Couldn’t have found a more impressive girl. Jealous of your Cum Laude cords, but only because they are blue 🙂 Let’s go knock post-grad out of the park!
I am so so sooo proud of you. It has been an absolute pleasure being your friend over the last few years, and although we might not be in the same place all the time anymore, I know our friendship will remain forever. I love you and am constantly amazed by all that you achieve. You are one of the most brightest and loveliest people I have ever met. I will miss you dearly, but cannot wait for all the times we can be together again.
